We found the seagull guest house to be an ideal and relaxing vacation. The views are incredible and the private beach was fantastic. The guest house is right above the beach; it was closer than it looked in the pictures. The sound of the waves is soothing, and you can hear them from the firepit, balcony, or guest house (if you leave the sliding door open). We felt spoiled because everything you could want has already been provided. Our son thoroughly enjoyed the beach and was happy to find toys inside the cottage. The decor is beautiful and whimsical; it is decorated like an owner would for their own house (rather than guest quarters). The furniture is comfortable and inviting. We hope to keep visiting in the future!

Had a wonderful stay. The Lake turned on her full majesty as an array of waves marched in like a mysterious army. There is a peace that embodies the guest house. I was able to mentally "dismiss myself" from the clatter and white noise of my office. The calm was welcomed.
In my opinion, if you need to relax and refresh, this is where I would recommend as a stay over. We are coming back!

Seagull Beach cottage was amazing!!! My husband and I spent our 20th wedding anniversary here and it was fabulous!! The landscaping/grounds were beautiful with a little path leading down to the private beach. When Marcy took us inside the cottage and we saw the huge doors to the patio opened wide with a cool breeze blowing in and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach, we were completely blown away!! My husband and I knew this would be an annual (hopefully more) event for us! The cottage was actually quite large and decorated so cute!! Every room was so homey and comfortable. It was decked out with any/everything a person would need/want - clothes are all you need to bring - everything else is there! We enjoyed the "night lights" on the trees right outside our bedroom window. There were sooo many little touches that made our entire experience so memorable!! The chilled wine glasses and bottle of wine in the fridge didn't go unnoticed either! We could not have had a better long weekend for our anniversary!! Thank you, Marcy & Vito! We will be back!!

This year our stay at the cottage
was longer than a weekend.
We arrived with my mom and aunt in tow.
After being met by Marcy , Pirate and Lucy,
we discovered a beautiful little birthday cake
garnished with a fresh flower. Our hostess
knew we were celebrating ages 50-82!
Weather was beautiful.
72 day/ high 50s at night. My husband joined
us later in the week. We flew kites on the
beach, and got a few glimpses of the resident eagle and walked, sat, and played with Pirate, and selected Sheyboygan
stones from the shore. We lit the fire pit in the
evening, played dominoes, made s'mores,
cooked out on the grill, played games,
shared pictures and had lunch and coffee
outside on the balcony. We enjoyed the
farmers market in town along with some
unique shopping, and even had a movie night
from the abundant DVD selection. The cottage feels like home away from home - only better scenery! We couldn't have
had more gracious hosts. We will be back.

Our first visit here it was rainy and cold all weekend. Yet, inside the cottage it was warm, cozy and peaceful. The sound of waves crashing on the beach lulled us into relax mode with books to read, plush robes in which to lounge, and snack - as our hosts left us wine, cheese and crackers in the fridge . The artists touch from furniture to mermaids and seashore artifacts fostered conversation and creative thinking in the comfortable white spaces in between walks in the rain, protected by the fishermans slicker provided in the laundry room . The Seagull Beach cottage was a great place to reconnect and recharge even when the weather was stormy.

Seagull Beach is by far our family's favorite Midwest get away destination! If you are looking for a cozy cottage (with the most comfortable beds & pillows ever) and a lovely beach to relax on, then you will love this place. The owners are the most hospitable people you will ever meet. Five+ stars forsure!

We've just returned from our 4th visit to this incredible paradise. We were in need of rest, rejuvenation and no agenda! That's exactly what Seagull Beach offers. Marcy and Vito are so great and the attention to detail is amazing. The beautiful gardens certainly enhance the lawn. We were enchanted with the lights in the trees! Lovely, just lovely!

If you want amazing, this is the place for you! I happened upon Seagull Beach in 2000 and can't stop going back. It is the most peaceful and beautiful place . The cottage is private, warm, and thoughtfully decorated. It is obvious that Marcy goes all out for her guests. The beach, the sound of the waves, and the scenery is incredible. You are surrounded by great places to walk, shop, and eat. Marcy is not only a great host, she is a forever friend and I am grateful for her little piece of heaven.

We loved our visit to seagull beach. The cottage is spectacular and every songle meticulous detail makes the entire experience magical. We loved the illuminated trees and it really helped my insomnia to watch that beauty before falling asleep. The decor is fabulous and the concept is followee throughout. The beach is gorgeous and Marcy and Vito have everything you could ever need available like paddle boards, kayak, bikes, firewood, chairs, snacks, and more. It was a relaxing experience and we can't wait to return.

I know few places that offer the same mix of easy comfort, natural Wisconsin beauty and personalized attention that my family finds at Seagull Beach guest house every year. Maybe that's why we usually book the next year's trip as soon as we get home. We love being on the lake. Stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking are a blast, especially when the water is that beautiful blue we have come to expect. We always build a fire on the beach and linger until after the sun goes down. It's just a huge exhale of an experience staying at the cottage, and it's nice to know that downtown Sheboygan (the harbor area, great restaurants, people watching, etc.) are just ten minutes away. This year we brought an exchange student from France with us, and he thought the lodging and beachfront access were incredible.
